Welcome to WEST COAST MOVING & DELIVERY SERVICES, INC.. These Terms of Service constitute a legally wedding agreement between the client (hereinafter referred to as "Customer") and WEST COAST MOVING & DELIVERY SERVICES, INC. regarding the use of our freight transportation, forwarding, and warehousing services. By engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these specific operational conditions.
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
WEST COAST MOVING & DELIVERY SERVICES, INC. provides specialized freight and warehousing solutions. Our commitment is to manage the safe transit and storage of your assets. The Customer is responsible for ensuring all cargo is properly packaged, labelled, and documented in accordance with international shipping standards.
The Customer shall provide accurate descriptions of the weight, value, and nature of the goods. Failure to disclose hazardous materials or high-value items may result in immediate termination of service and forfeiture of insurance claims.
All invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date unless otherwise specified in a written contract. Delayed payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month. WEST COAST MOVING & DELIVERY SERVICES, INC. reserves the right to exercise a lien on the cargo for any unpaid freight charges or fees.
Our liability for loss or damage to cargo is strictly limited to the values defined in the Carmack Amendment or specific warehouseman's legal liability limits unless additional insurance is purchased through WEST COAST MOVING & DELIVERY SERVICES, INC..
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Parties agree to attempt mediation before initiating formal legal proceedings in Bloomington, CA.
